I have not used Max's services since 2017 but he is sending me other customer's tax information by mistake. I have told him several times that he has the wrong contact and he not responded. This has been happening for 2 years now and I finally called HIS client to notify them that their accountant is sending me their tax info. I would not trust Max with your private information and I'm so glad I stopped using him.

Seemed like a smart guy, but completely flaked on our appointment that was set a few weeks in advance for this April 2018!. And this was for a few days before tax deadline, and he no call no show! screwed me, and my company!
I had to seek an actual pro, VERY last minute!
Anyone who makes appointments, and completely flakes on them, is not pro!
I did email him a day ahead as a reminder of our appointment, he replied that I had -MY- date wrong...lol
I then sent him a copy of his previous email from weeks before stating a confirmation of the date that I was saying. (im not wrong, i proved it

I've had a few complicated situation with my taxes and Max has been able to help me with all my tax needs. I've had a few questions pop up, and he's been able to answer them all in a very timely manner. I've seen him go out of his way to help me in any possible way. I moved to Hawaii, and he's still helping me. Max's quality of service is just incomparable and I highly recommend him to everyone I know.

Max and his team helped me organize my business and get set up for success as a newly LLC'd business! I was lucky to find Max right here on Yelp. I opened a small business in 2011. In the past I used another local tax preparation service of comparable price, minus the quality. After TaxPro did my taxes I realized what difference quality and customer service.
Max went over every detail making me feel comfortable about asking questions. This past year I started a law firm as an LLP with a good friend from law school, however when tax time came it seemed nobody wanted to deal with an LLP. I happen to find Max at Tax Pro right here on Yelp and it turned out to be a great match for our law firm!
From beginning to end, Max made us very comfortable with his skill set and competent knowledge of the tax law. He not only did our taxes but took a considerable amount of time to walk us through other business structures that would be more beneficial to the long term success of our law practice.

Max has been doing our taxes for the past 3 years and his work is nothing less than amazing! He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable and funny! Not only is he great at his job, but he's an all around nice guy too. When I showed up at the farmers market, I realized I didn't have enough cash on me. I ran into Max there and he offered to loan me $20 so I could purchase my veggies. If you want a great accountant, then go see Max at Tax Pro!!

If you've ever gone to H&R block before, you'll never go again. Max is a breath of fresh air. Totally exceeded my expectations. Max took the time to explain and consult which was very helpful. If there is any complexity to your taxes, which mine are minor, go to Max.

This year, I decided to go with a professional to prepare my taxes and his name is Max Garcia! I've known Max for over 20 years and I don't know why I haven't seen him sooner to prepare my taxes. Max is very trustworthy, knowledgeable in the tax industry, and friendly! He put my mind at ease on the daunting task of preparing taxes and he took the time to explain and show me taxes are not as intimidating as it seems. I will definitely return to TaxPro and have Max prepare my taxes in the future.
