The Chiropractor will locate the source of your discomfort by performing a comprehensive exam. Your exam will continue with Neurological Testing and finally Muscle Testing. If positive findings are revealed during your exam, Dr. Steve may advise you to have X-rays taken in order to learn more information about your condition.
I guess I should start by telling you that I absolutely love my profession. I've been practicing Chiropractic for over 26 years now and I can honestly say that it's more exciting today than the day I began. I believe in using the latest technology to help people recover quickly. I have an extremely high success rate at my office, but if I'm unable to help you, I'll personally get involved and locate someone who can.

I’ve had neck and back pain for over 20 years. It’s something I just live with. It spikes up once in a while to an intolerable level and that’s when I pop in and the doctor spends whatever time it takes to get me back to my manageable level. He has a technique I haven’t experienced before, and believe me when I say I’ve seen many chiropractors in my lifetime. I’ll just say…it works. This is the most important part, but the bonus is the doctor actually seems to CARE. I don’t feel like just ‘another patient’ or a number like I’ve felt so often with other specialists in the past

We met in a car accident and decided to go get some treatment for some pain and soreness. Dr Steve was excellent from the very start. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. Both myself and my mother in law went to see him after the accident and we were very happy we did. He was able to diagnose our issues very quickly and began to to fix them right away. I would highly recommend Dr Steve.

I first met Dr. Stephen Prefer in late 2021/2013, shortly after arriving from Georgia. I made a terrible decision to forgo buying a new bed, but, waited for my furniture to arrive...I had to see out a Chiropractor, and on his day off, he agreed to see me. He is personable, but, very professional. He is result-oriented and really seeks to make you satisfied, explaining step by step what he is going. I have had to make two other visits, one last year, and yesterday. Seriously, as an R.N or 30 years, I believe in competent and compassionate care. He is THE REAL DEAL!!!!
