From the moment we called Aaron's office back in 2016, we felt like we would have a good experience. Stacy was warm and welcoming and Aaron was calm and competent. We had a complex tax situation involving rental property as well as tax mistakes made by previous preparers. We have been clients at Traxton CPA for several years. He and his staff have been excellent in preparing our taxes. Aaron and Stacy have been generously preparing my taxes for 5 years now. Originally I had gone to Aaron because I was fresh out of a divorce with complicated taxes and (unbeknownst to me) owed about 10 times more to our federal government than I had expected. After a hearty cry in Aaron's office, he kindly consoled me and because he did not make me feel like a horse's behind I went back to him the following year. Met with this accountant for a consultation for our tax preparation. The consultation was supposed to be free. He ended up charging $437 and that was only after I was clearly upset and unable to pay the $800+ he wanted! So unless you plan on spending $200 an hour for a consultation you may want to keep looking!

I just met Aaron recently, and until then I had been doing my taxes online. He found so many good deductions that I had not found in previous years. My refund was higher then it's been in years! He is so thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. That being said, he is also very personal and friendly to the point where you feel like you are family with him.
