I am a current student in the skin program. This school is HORRIBLE!!!!!! No one really cares about any concerns the students have. Multiple students have caught Covid and after several students have complained they finally put hand sanitizer out on each table. There is like 50 students in one classroom so we cannot social distance. Talking to Mrs. Pam isn’t helping because she acts like she cares but doesn’t. I’m leaving a review for the Skincare Department. First I’d like to say that I am a graduate of the Esthetics program, the only graduate who received High Honors at my graduation and my former teacher Ms. Krystal tried to belittle me by not acknowledging my accomplishments and saying high honors doesn’t mean anything so she’s not going to mention names (me being the only name…yeah…) Mrs. Liz St. John, the program director as well as instructor said smart rude remarks immediately after my short appreciation speech to my dear friend and former classmate.

In this life , you get out what you put in , much like your time spent at ISSNM . My time there was invaluable , I studied hard and wasted no time , nor my teachers . I valued the gems of wisdom from every one of them and enjoyed the guest speakers that I could , while working nights to finish as fast as I could . Proud finishing at top of my class… , and tearfully giving the speech at the graduation ceremony . These moments are not only defining but their momentum carries you to the next level naturally . Believe all of the horrible reviews that you’ve gotten to read before this one because I wish I would have when choosing which school I wanted to start my esthetic journey in. It’s taken me a long time to decide to put this review up only because I feel that since I got out of that place and graduated I’ve put it behind me and honestly didn’t want to revisit anything to do with the school. I'm leaving my review as a client... potentially. I was just called 1 hour and 20 min before my skincare appointment and told that all my services were cancelled because the students didn't show up. All they did was offer to reschedule. I'm pregnant with my first child, is the day before mother's Day, and because of covid it had been over a year before I had any skin care or massage services. I went through the massage therapy program graduating in July of 2017. I completed the program in 7 months paying for it out of pocket. It was the least expensive school in the area with the fastest program. Since they offer morning and evening classes, I was able to work full time while attending the program. The school has a broad approach targeting several areas of Holistic and Wellness practices. I became Master in Reiki and certified in Ionic Foot Detox; I became certified in many modalities of massage including prenatal, Hot Stones, sports, NMT, chair massage, reflexology to name a few. It
