Dr. Allan Pfeiffer has maintained a dental practice in Malibu, CA since 1979. He has over 35 years of experience in treating adults and children from the Malibu and Los Angeles areas. Dr. Pfeiffer holds an undergraduate degree from University of California Santa Barbara in Neurobiology and received his Dental degree from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Pfeiffer and his staff are really as good as all the other reviewers say. My family and I have been patients for about 20 years. He doesn't pressure you into treatments for problems or possible problems until you really need it - or until you're ready to take the next step. He is really gentle when you need a numbing shot before he starts filling cavities etc. Calm demeanor keeps things at a relatively low stress level (hey it's dental work, so there's a little anxiety...) Dr. Pfeiffer is great but there's something wrong with the administrative side of his office these days.
I was scheduled to have a wisdom tooth pulled; and the receptionist had left a message on my phone to confirm the time and day. Two weeks later and the day before my appointment, I called to confirm, only to hear that I wasn't in the book. This wasn't the first time I had communication issues with this office. But I had taken time off work and it takes me an hour each way to get there. What if I had arrived for my appointment, only to hear I wasn't scheduled? Fortunately

Just had a double extraction and a temporary bridge installed by Dr Pfeiffer.. Losing my smile wasn't an option so he did this amazing bridge which looks better than my original teeth. Great guy.. Funny but really an artistic problem solver when it comes to your teeth. Im really happy with the result. Trudi Reynolds

After my visit with this dr I came to this conclusion:
Dr is great, very nice and welcoming, as others have mentioned here the prices aren't bad either. So why did I give him 3 stars? Quite honestly I did not appreciate the girl at the front. (She was the young girl with dark hair and bright lipstick, don't know how else to describe her I can't remember her name) His office would do much better with giving her some etiquette classes. First of all she was making comments that were so inappropriate that I felt like I needed to file a harassment suit! On top of that she was completely

Everything you could ask for! Dr. Pfeiffer is professional, kind, honest, and funny! I went to see Dr. Pfeiffer last year about some work I needed and I felt I was chatting with an old friend.
He was so honest about the work I needed and he pointed me in the direction of an excellent Endodontist too. His staff is friendly and the wait is short.
