Helping Moon Counseling is a family owned business. For several years, I had my own private practice. After a few years of doing this on my own, I realized that I would be able to help more people if we grew the business. Together, my husband and I decided that we were going to expand the business and hire more therapists on the team.
We hand-picked every person on the team, and we feel that we have incredible professionals working with us. Mental health is such an important aspect of life, and we wanted to create a center where everyone can find a therapist who can help them. I've had the privilege to work with Luna Medina and some of the therapists in her practice and I'm happy to recommend her to clients and friends. I have referred several friends to her and they have all reported good things back to me, which gives me confidence to continue to refer to her and her team. Clients that I have referred to her team have also reported good things about her therapists. Her team is diverse in experience, training, and treat different age groups. One of the most important things for me in this world is family. As a practitioner, I am very selective with who I refer to and who I trust. Helping Moon has been a trusted provider over the years and I happily say that I have even trusted this practice with my own family. Luna is very caring and very selective with her team. I feel this is one of the reasons why the practice has been very successful over the years.

For a therapy office I was very disappointed! According to my insurance and multiple other websites you take BCBS, FL blue, and Medicare. One of my friend's is a former client of the office and has BCBS. I have FL blue and when I called I was told that you are in network but no therapist are able to take my insurance at this time. Then I heard an entire sales pitch of doing out of network with my insurance/superbill. This is not an option for me because it only cover less than half of the cost. Your website has listed to cost $225 per session. I cannot pay put of pocket at all and need to be in

Luna was born to do what she does best, help people. She loves and enjoy her work and she’s amazing at it.
