This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with an auto service center. I took my vehicle to have it fixed bcuz it was leaking oil and the check engine light was on therefore it wouldn't pass smog. They quoted me $1,200 and then called to say the mechanic broke a part that had to be ordered but this wasn't unusual for this type of repair. However, it's gonna cost an additional $500 and they forgot to include this "normal repair" in the estimate and did I want them to fix it. Well it couldn't be driven unless they fixed it. All said and done I pd $2,400 and another $80 to have them smog

I had this mysterious ticking coming from my engine. Nobody could figure out what was causing it. A friend I met heard this tick and said he knew a mechanic that could look at it. Low and behold I was in the parking lot of Ray Conti's Auto. Ray was outside working on another vehicle and dropped what he was doing just to look at my truck. He found the problem in a matter of just a few minutes. I have no doubts that this man would do a stellar job on your car. With great admiration I would highly recommend Ray Conti's Auto in Oldtown. Yeah!

Wow, this shop is amazing. Antich (another shop in Eureka) said I had a blown head gasket and a load of other problems. They quoted me $11,000 in repairs that included a new engine. I took my truck to Conti for a second opinion. They got her running great for less than a grand. Conti's was quick, did great work, and they were completely honest. No blown head gasket, no need for a new engine, nothing even remotely close. They ran the codes and it came back with a clogged throttle body. Conti cleaned it, replaced my broken starter and got me set up with a new battery. I just drove the truck

Their air compressor is broken, I told the cashier and she just told me it belongs to the renter not them. If they cant be bothered to fix a simple valve to service their customers. I shudder to think of how they handle auto repairs, fortunately I have never had them work on my car, because their estimates are the highest in town, and their mechanics are not knowledgable. Not even going back for gas.

I love Conti's. I have gone about three times... had to make sure they were as good as they seemed first time. Sure enough, each time i had the same experience: good work, reasonable prices, and friendly folks. They work with you to figure out the trouble, instead of just holding onto your car for hours while the dollars mount up.

We brought our 17 year old Camry here for repair of what my husband thought was a bad transmission. They worked diligently over a few days to determine the problem--oxygen sensors needed to be replaced, transmission ok. Labor charges were very reasonable for the amount of time it took to solve the problem. Two weeks later, we brought the car in for new brakes, front and back. They did a great job. Turnaround was quick and they gave me a loaner for the few hours that they had our car. Again, excellent service, reasonable rates, good people. Highly recommended.
