As a chiropractor in Scottsdale, understands and acknowledges that the human body is a self-regulating and self-healing organism.
As a child Dr. Hoffer was extremely sick. He suffered from severe colic as a baby, but the real health problems ensued in the coming years. At one point, the medical doctor tested him for 140 allergens and he tested positive to 136 of them. These allergies caused extreme asthma and he also had a severely suppressed immune system.

We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. Think of an adjustment as "tuning" a piano, adjusting each string so it produces the perfect tone.
We want all of our patients to feel immediately at home when they walk in the door. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important for you to feel comfortable right from the start. I had a work related issue with my back that was giving me a adot of main and mobility issues. Never have I had a chiropractor or Doctor of any type give such an honest and straight forward explanation with detail that was easy to understand and comprehend about my condition. I would recommend Hoffer Chiropractic to anyone experiencing similar issues and not sure where to go moving forward. I have suffered from headaches, and neck pain my entire life. It was not until I spoke with Dr Hoffer, at his Scottsdale office, that I realized there was something he could do to change all that. The office staff is beyond welcoming, and you are always seen by the doctor quickly. In a very short period of time my neck pain and headaches are gone, and due to my continued care my posture has never been better. My only regret is that I did not try out the practice and Dr. Hoffer sooner!!

I have been seeing Hoffer Chiropractic in Scottsdale for a few years now. The staff is always caring and kind. Throughout high school Dr. Hoffer helped with my scoliosis and back pain I experienced with playing sports. Dr. Hoffer and his staff are so helpful and really think of your individual needs work with the patient. I've been going for a few months now and my back has never felt better in my life. Honestly, I didn't realize how bad it was before I started going to Dr. Hoffer. I have seen Dr. Hoffer for nearly 20 years. He has been the only doctor to consistently help treat my chronic lower back pain. Unlike other chiropractors who have a one-size-fits-all approach to care, he always takes time to listen to the specifics of my issue and adjusts accordingly. It is not uncommon for him to accurately diagnose issues simply by evaluating my posture or tightness, even before I am able to tell him what's wrong. Do you have a loved one who complains about aches and pains on a regular basis (I do). What an amazing place!! I would not go anywhere else for chiropractic care now. I had previously seen a different chiropractor who just went through the motions- here they explain everything in detail, are extremely thorough in the treatments they do and are incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of your health. Dr Hoffer and Dr Johansen go above and beyond to make sure the best care is given, they have state of the art diagnostic equipment and the whole team make it a great experience.

I love Hoffer Chiropractic! My family has been seeing Dr.Hoffer for as long as I can remember. I started seeing Dr.Hoffer when I was pregnant with my son. I got to a point where I could barely move, after a few visits I felt great! Getting adjusted made my pregnancy so much more comfortable. Now, both my 14 month old and I get adjusted weekly. All of the people there are fantastic! Can't recommend them enough.

I found Hoffer Chiropractic over 10 years ago and I have not looked elsewhere since. Dr. Hoffer is by far the best chiropractor I have been to (I had been to quite a few prior to finding his practice).
Dr. Hoffer’s care has helped me overcome many ailments like headaches, back pain and even indigestion. The facility is welcoming and comfortable and the staff is friendly and professional. I had numbness in my hands with neck pain and lower back pain. Heard of Dr. Hoffer through my co-workers and went to see what he could do for me. I no longer have these issues. I discovered Hoffer Chiropractic when I had a lower back problem so bad I couldn't function. I had never been to a chiropractor but my regular doctor could only prescribe muscle relaxers to help with the pain but that was not an option for me. Dr. Hoffer has been able to get me pain free and has taught me how to keep my back healthy going forward without medication. Was in a nasty t-bone accident in 2007 and never really got my neck & shoulders "fixed" properly afterwards. By 2009, my chronic pain was so bad, I couldn't sleep at night...AT ALL. Even though I was practicing yoga faithfully, getting massages regularly, doing stretches daily, and using any kind of topical ointment I could get my hands on, it wasn't REALLY fixing the problem. I was popping advil, etc like candy, and I knew that was going to eventually take it's toll on my liver & kidneys...it was time to pull out all the stops.
