My family moved to Cody in 1994 and opened the first RE/MAX office in NorthWest Wyoming.
Summers here offer beautiful mountain landscapes that can best be enjoyed on the many hiking paths in our area. Or if you prefer rent a mountain bike or take a trail ride on horseback. Fly-fishing, kayaking and white water rafting are the predominant water sports offered in Cody.

Recycling in Cody is no small task. We are situated far from everything which makes transporting recyclable products where they need to be in order to evolve into whatever they are destined to become, costly. Nevertheless, we have recycling here. The City of Cody manages this program for our town and fortunately, provides an outlet for those with the wherewithall to go through the process.
Don't be fooled by the wide open spaces around here. It's easy to settle into your cruising groove, the pedal pushes down a little closer to the metal while your speedometer inches upward. Then, right out of nowhere a little town pops up - accompanied by a rapid drop in the speed limit - and if you're not paying attention you will get pegged.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Thereasa Donley. It took a year longer to sell my home in Cody because I listed with her. Rarely did she attend showings- I ended up greeting clients and letting them look. She wasn't knowledgeable about social media and didn't work the internet marketing to present the property. After the contract with her expired I got Scott Richards as my realtor and he sold my house. In this day you need a realtor who reaches out to your audience and communicates with them personally. Scott was this realtor. Thereasa wasn't......
