We are a small team of friendly, talented photographers who provide Maui photography. We specialize in wedding photography, family portrait photography, couples/engagement photography, maternity photography and high school senior portraits. We shoot on location, usually at the beach, but can also come to your hotel-resort.
We are based in Lahaina, but also travel to the Kihei-Wailea area. We offer early morning and sunset sessions. We use both natural light and off camera flash, a must in order to capture those gorgeous Maui sunsets and the bright, tropical colors morning sessions offer. We love COLOR and our photographs are vivid and bright.

Services
STEP 2: Check your email! You'll find we have sent you an invoice for the $50 deposit along with our portrait contract. Both can be completed online. Once you have paid the deposit and signed the contract, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with all the details and directions to your shoot location.
Our most popular session is great for families, couples, maternity and high school seniors. A little extra time for extended families and couples/materntiy or high school seniors who need multiple outfit changes. In the event of rainy weather, we will first try and change locations. Maui has a lot of microclimates.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Capture Aloha Photography. We had a thirty minute beach shoot to celebrate our honeymoon. We had the shoot at 505 Beach in front of our hotel. Jelena, our photographer, was wonderful and so kind. She made us both feel very comfortable during our shoot. It was a wonderful experience.
I recently received the images and I'm thrilled with them. I normally am overly critical with photos of myself, but I love all of the photos! I get transported back to our Maui trip when I look at them and it's exactly what I wanted! Give this fabulous business

Ally was so kind and professional! She was patient and helpful when trying to get our 2 year old and dog to pose and smile! She captured the beautiful Maui scenery and some truly candid moments and smiles for timeless photos that we will always cherish. She lived up to the company name and truly captured the aloha!!

Jelena with Capture Aloha Photography has been our photographer 2 years in a row & she always does an amazing job helping my family of four feel at ease & less self-conscious about doing a photo session. Months ago we had planned a family photo shoot on the beach in Maui during our vacation. The day of our planned photo shoot our photographer (NOT Capture Aloha) cancelled. We quickly called several photographers that morning and Capture Aloha was amazingly helpful in making our photo shoot come true. They were very flexible with the last minute date and time and had a wonderful location planned which was close to where we were staying which we so appreciated since we didn't have much time before we were headed home. I was also so happy that they had a back up plan just in case the weather

We have NEVER had family pictures done and decided to spring for it during our Maui vacation. The whole experience was awesome and our photos came out beautiful. Great way to get updated family portraits done. Why not Maui!!!!! Jelena was our photographer and did a great job. Photos were very good, we were very happy with results.
The whole process worked well from initial bookings, to the reminders of photo shoot leading up to it, to the photo shoot, and to the quick return on getting photo album done. Definitely pleased.

We had pictures taken in June and they turned out wonderful! Our photographer was amazing and she captured some beautiful images. I could not be any happier with my experience with Capture Aloha.
I wanted to write this review to point out how not only do they have great photographers but, their customer service goes above and beyond. My computer recently crashed and I lost all of the photos from our session. I emailed Becky with not much hope of being able to get another copy of our session. Becky responded to me quickly and told me that it would be no problem to send me the pictures again

You will be working with a company that hires 2-3 photographers. That means the work you like on here is not a good indication of the work of your assigned photographer. Strongly dislike that. I have worked with photographers to get family photos taken in Honolulu, Rome, London, Paris..etc and have always been able to make my choice based on the photographer's entire portfolio.
I had to hunt down the work of the photographers on their blog and it's just not enough photos to give me a comprehensive review.

Becky was wonderful about communicating and getting everything booked a few months in advance for our Honeymoon/Anniversary shoot. Neena was our photographer and she was brilliant! She took my inspiration board on Pinterest and really caught the vision I was going for. I love the location they chose and the lighting at sunset was perfect! Really beautifully done! Thank you!

Unbelievably happy with the pictures Alandra took for our family photo session in Maui!! Becky responded to our inquiry within an hour and all the pre-photo info was direct and easy to follow. Alandra met us a mile from where we're staying at Kapalua Beach for a sunset session. She took the most beautiful photos that we will cherish forever!! She handled our large group and our very grumpy 4-year old with grace and humor. Our pictures were delivered in only one week, and downloading and ordering photos was straightforward.

I went to Hawaii with my girlfriend and her family for our annual summer vacation. Little did my girlfriend know, I had been planning on proposing to her while on our trip as it was her "dream to get engaged in Hawaii"! I knew I couldn't disappoint and once I had her ideal ring, I went searching for a top notch photographer. After researching, I came across Capture Aloha Photography and all their reviews and photos were fantastic and what I was looking for so I booked with them to capture the surprise proposal. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL!

Jelena was amazing and the photos she took were beautiful! I had gotten stitches on my foot the day before and Jelena took the time and patience to make sure I was ok. She was easy to work with and was up to any ideas we had. She was also very sweet to our girls.
The pictures were beautiful and loved them all!!

I had contacted Capture Aloha 4 months before through email and becky responded quickly.. I wasn't too sure about actually paying for a photographer.. It was 3 days before our intimate wedding on the beach when my fiancé and I had decided we wanted a photographer.. So we contacted Summer.. He was great with answering every question I asked and really understandable.. Very honest man who is willing to help out and very reasonable price!!

Absolutely beautiful pictures taken by a great couple! We are so happy we chose Summer and Becky to take our family photos in Maui. With a group of 18, I wasn't sure they would have the patience required to deal with a group our size - including two toddlers. We were celebrating many milestones - graduations, anniversaries, birthdays and new family members. Everyone is so pleased with the results. My family had beach portraits done by Capture Aloha Photography during our Maui vacation, and we were very pleased with the level of professionalism shown by Summer and Becky, from the booking process to the photo shoot at Kapalua Bay, to the timely delivery of the online photo gallery. Both Summer and Becky were a pleasure to work with during the photo shoot. My husband has trouble walking and standing for long periods of time, which presented some difficulty for him in navigating the beach and surrounding area during the shoot, and Becky graciously went to a nearby location to get a folding chair
