Although incorporated in 2008, Allen Property Group is the expansion of over 100 years of real estate experience, blended through several, family owned, brokerage and property management businesses. Allen Property Group specializes in property management and leasing along California's picturesque Central Coast.
The Rio Sands Hotel is located in the Rio del Mar neighborhood of Aptos, Santa Cruz County. This 51 room hotel is the closest in proximity to the beach in all of Aptos. Extensively remodeled in 2011, The Rio Sands offers a heated pool, hot tub and daily continental breakfast. This hotel has a range of room types, from studios to family suites, most with kitchenettes.
This well recognized retail property is located on the Soquel Avenue thoroughfare leading to downtown Santa Cruz. Property is currently occupied by a clothing retailer and used as their regional outlet store. Property is currently home to 13 different businesses and anchored by Shopko and the University of Oregon satellite offices.
Proud to have assisted Pajaro Valley School Board and Aptos Little League in negotiating a new, long term Joint Use Agreement. Helping raise $100,000 through the Capitola/Aptos Rotary for future Leo's Haven playground in Santa Cruz.

Unresponsive and when I finally made contact Gabrielle was so off putting. She told me the owners of the property are very "particular" about who they would rent to. She insinuated that I could not see the property until I was "pre-qualified" I have an amazing community concept for the old Hannah's furniture store building on 41st. In these Coronavirus times I'm sure the owner would be very interested and this realtor is doing them a great disservice.

Allen Property Group runs a handful of small coastal hotels, including the Venetian in Capitola and the Rio Sands in Aptos.
We travel to that area about once a month, sometimes more. Our long term plan is to actually purchase a home in Aptos when our kids graduate high school, so we make a point to try to be involved in the community we plan on relocating to.
That said we recently had a very awful stay at the Rio Sands and it led to a pretty unpleasant and unprofessional interaction with Steve Allen. I brought my family to one of his hotels and we ended up with no heat or plumbing. The staff
