I am a native of Charlotte and graduated from Myers Park High School. After college and law school, I moved back to Charlotte and served as a police officer, and as an officer in the N.C. Army National Guard. I focus my law practice primarily on family law and estate planning. I live in Huntersville with my wife and our four children.
I grew up in West Virginia and graduated from Wayne High School in 2007. I received a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Pre-Law from Concord University in 2011. During my time at Concord University, I developed of love for litigation while participating in mock trial competitions through Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity.
Waylon is Kelsey's year old golden retriever puppy. Waylon is the newest addition to the Adkins Law Family. Waylon enjoys playing with his favorite toys (rabbit and raccoon), he enjoys running around, and finding ways to escape. There is nothing Waylon loves more than belly rubs and playtime with new people and friends!
Besides, perhaps, religious beliefs, nothing is more important than family. Your spouse, children, parents, and siblings provide you with love, security, and happiness. There is nothing more essential in life. Some relationships, unfortunately, deteriorate. Adkins Law sincerely wants you and your family to be happy.

Very disappointed with this establishment. I left a retainer with them and stated I would contact them if I wanted to move forward with my case. I specifically did NOT sign the agreement. When I called I was told they could only refund me half of my retainer even after not signing anything and asking them to wait until I was able to think everything over. At the end of the day it seems like they only wanted my money versus actually helping me with my case. What they did was not right and would definitely NOT recommend.

Please read the lowest reviews from actual people. Worst experience ever. I’ve been dealing with custody lawyers for years now. Ive never been ripped off so bad and nothing was done with my case after spending $4,500. I went and filed myself for free and got a court date because my lawyer wouldn’t get it done in time. My case was mishandled and not taken care of properly. Horrible communication and response time. If anything this just slowed down my case and the firm is really shady.

I got a speeding ticket the day after Thanksgiving. I was able to find Chris Adkins through my work via Rocket Lawyer. I contacted him and he was able to get my speeding ticket taken care of off docket in a few days!! He was very quick with his response. Chris was super helpful and i’m so thankful that he was able to get my speeding ticket reduced! if I ever need another lawyer I will surely go to him again!!
