The Family Dentist was opened by Dr. Milton Kaye in 1972 on King Street in Lancaster City, the practice quickly grew and new locations were opened in LEOLA (The first home of ONE DAY DENTURE SERVICE) and Levittown, PA. In memory of Dr. Kaye his son, Jerry Kaye, opened the M.H. Kaye Pavilion on Columbia Ave in Lancaster in 1986.

I hate the dentist and I mean HATE the dentist but coming here makes that a little less. This guy knows what he’s doing and his assistant is the sweetest. Your teeth will be taken care of and you will leave in better condition. - someone who had to get a whole lot of fillings and her gums needed help and no other dentist did jack squat.

I recommend this practice and this dentist without reservation. My husband presented a huge challenge to Dr. Kauffman. He ended up having to send us to an oral surgeon. It takes a big man to cry "Uncle". I've worked with lots of doctors, and it really isn't their nature. It was challenging series if events to go thru, and it seemef like communication was lacking, but they were in uncharted waters also! Everything was very professional and above par, in terms of service. Dr. Kauffman is the grandfather type I'd choose. Caring, courteous, and skilled.

LOVE THIS OFFICE! BOTH LOCATIONS HAVE SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF! THEY TAKE THE TIME TO KNOW YOU AND THEY ADDRESS YOU NAME (which makes me feel super special)! DOCTOR MARTIN IS AWESOME! HE PAYS ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ALLOWS YOU TO BE FULLY ENGULFED IN THE PROCESS. I TRULY APPRECIATE HIM FOR THAT. I WILL DEFINITELY LET HIM HANDLE ALL FUTURE DENTAL NEEDS AND REFER OTHERS TO HIM.

This was my first appointment, having been with another dentist for over 40 years. This Family Dentist was so kid, helpful in questions I asked and let me know how my teeth looked after they cleaned them. I want to personally thank them for their professional knowledge regarding my teeth. Also, the receptionist was so very kind and has a beautiful smile.

BEST DENTAL PRACTICE...EVERRRR!!!!! 100% quality dental work. They make you feel at home and relaxed. In 58 Years I have been terrified to go to the dentist. NOT anymore!! Dr. Martin is wonderful. And Liliana and Heather make my time at the dentist easy and fun. The entire staff here are top notch and they truly care about their patients.
