I bring a lot of knowledge and talent to my portrait photography and I strive to learn and grow in this profession every. We own two fluffy, puffy, hairy goldens and I wouldn't have it any other way. I own about 12 lint brushes (no, really!) and they're stashed just about everywhere: car, kitchen, diaper bag, office.
AND my camera bag. I probably will have few elusive golden retriever hairs on me the first time that we meet which have miraculously escaped the lint brush. We were actually high school sweethearts that continued to date during and after college. We have one adorable and spunky little boy named Owen.

Services
At your viewing and ordering appointment, you may choose a Collection that includes a set number of digital images. A print release will come with the images included in your selected Collection. On average, your viewing and ordering appointment will take place within 1-2 weeks of your session. Once your order is placed, prints, products, and/or digital images are ready within 3 weeks.
By now, we have selected a date and you have been penciled into my calendar. To hold the date, the sitting fee must be paid within 1 business day. If the retainer is not received within this timeframe, the date is opened up to other clients. We don't want that to happen! We will also discuss and select a location, do you want a traditional grass and foliage backdrop or something more urban?

Melissa is incredible to work with as she makes everyone comfortable. She is not fussy and does not put you in awkward poses. I have had Melissa take family photos, senior photos and headshots. She was able to capture the essence of my children-especially difficult teenage boys!!! Her special reveal experience and all she puts into the photos to make her customers happy is beyond extra.

Being a mom of a child with Autism it was very stressful trying to find a photographer that would be patient enough to get beautiful senior pictures of my son. Melissa came highly recommended and was extremely kind and patient giving him breaks and extra time as he needed. I felt very comfortable knowing that she had a background in education and working with special needs children. I highly recommend Melissa for any upcoming photo shoot you may have planned.

Melissa is an extremely talented photographer! She consistently takes the most gorgeous pictures of my family. I’ve been using her for the past 2.5 years for family and newborn pictures. Melissa takes the time to listen to what you are looking for in your pictures and has the ability to capture smiles even on “grouchy 2-year old” days! We plan to continue using her services!
