I choose to do a limited number of wedding commissions each year so I can travel and enjoy time with my three amazing kids. This also allows me to give my clients more attention and to deliver their photos quickly. I have a large portrait studio located in West Fresno behind the Costco on Shaw. I served in the US Army Special Forces as a medical sergeant, deploying twice to Afghanistan. I wanted to do my part for my country. My family places a high value on service, broadly speaking. We have long tradition of military service, but we also have family members who contributed in other ways like the Peace Corps or through helping the school districts in the underserved areas of town.
Why did you join the military? I joined the military because 9/11 disgusted me and I wanted to fight the best I could to prevent tragedy. 2. What are your most proud achievements while serving? Actually getting to save a little girl that was about to get hit by a Datsun truck in Iraq. 3. What if your favorite memory from your combat tour?
Shrapnel is defined as: A fragment left from a bomb or explosion, that often remains in the soldier for life. Every combat Veteran leaves the battlefield with a life changed forever. These fragments of war leave behind physical and/or emotional scars that may never heal. These American warriors have sacrificed so much for God and Country, and their stories need to be told.

WONDERFUL PHOTOGRAPHER! I hired him for a photo shoot. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with the photos for Christmas, and Brett made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He was extremely professional and respectful, and was a lot of fun to work with. I would love the opportunity to do another shoot with him again... but this time a normal couples photo shoot with my boyfriend.

We needed professional headshots for two of us. Brett was so professional, quick to respond, detailed in his explanations, and efficient in our shoot. We were done quickly and he got our finished headshots back in two days (and that was due to our inability to pick one quickly). He has an easy going personality which made for a very pleasant experience. We will be using him for further business. I would highly recommend him!

I decided to do something quite out of the ordinary for my husband this anniversary. While my husband finds my fuller figure delightful, I am a little less excited by it. We found Ambient Art Photography on Yelp when we were looking for a lifestyle photographer in the Central CA area. We are SO glad we did! Brett worked with us for weeks leading up to the shoot and nailed down details so we didn't have to stress out. Brett and Alicia did our wedding in 10/2016 at Harris Ranch, CA. We met them at the wedding expo in Fresno. They provide beautiful photos that capture the moments of the wedding. We were able to get both Alicia and Brett at our wedding so it was awesome to have two different perspectives and not to mention having photos of both wedding parties separately simultaneously.

I have used this company twice. Once for a family photo and another for a special science photo shoot. Alicia and Brett are both very professional. They also are wonderful with kids. That's always a plus when your trying to get photos of little ones.
Alicia also had a salon and does hair and makeup and seeing her work through photos is pretty cool too.

My daughter and I were very disappointed with our experience here. Our pictures turned out terribly. I could barely recognize my daughter. They made her look 40 years older than she is. Brett said he had a lot of experience doing head shots (for actors) but the photographs say otherwise. The morning of her session, Brett asked her to bring props to her head shot session. Anyone who has done actor head shots would know that you don't use props? It's been 3 months and we are already trying to get new ones. She is embarrassed to hand Brett's head shots out to anyone. Both Brett and his wife Alicia are amazing photographers! We picked them to photograph our daughter's June 22, 2014th wedding, and I'm so happy we did! This wasn't just a one day shoot. They were involved in engagement photos, a special photo album for the groom, and more. On the day of the wedding, they were both there early. Alicia stayed with my daughter while she was getting dressed. She took many photos of family & friends who were there as well. She even helped with my daughter's make up! Both Brett and Alicia were so accomplished, they helped put everyone at ease
