Old woman greeted me at the door and took my temp. and is willing to provide masks. First red flag is you need to pay before you even get to see the masseuse. Second red flag is when I asked if they accept cards she completely dropped the act and rushed me to leave. No other explanation was given and not even a recommendation for finding an atm to get cash. Extremely rude behavior from an establishment that claims the name of Japan where common courtesy is an unspoken rule and customer service is paramount. Save yourself the trouble of the $80 cash grab for only one hour of massage and find a place

This was my first time and the old lady is nasty. I went there for a regular massage and she upfront ask me how much tip you want to pay. I said $10. Then she says "GET OUT OF MY MASSAGE PARLOR YOU IDIOT Minimum tip is $100" I should have called the cops and reported. Do not go here. Go to Fusion 41. Much better and honest.

Every summer, I visit Sarasota in order to write books in peace and quiet. Book-writing is stressful and exhausting. I rely on my periodic visits to Japan Sauna to de-stress and relax. The interior of the Spa itself is nicely furnished and decorated and the owner always makes me personally welcome. I would give less stars if I could. An older women greets you at the door telling you she won't be giving you the massage. I tell her I want 1 1/2 hour massage, she wants the $85.00 up front, I'm thinking thats a great price but I find out later it's for a 1 hour massage. A young girl comes in asking me over and over what I wanted (I know what she was asking) but I was there only for a massage. She didn't know the first thing about giving a massage. This place is awesome! Great service, relaxing, and clean! Very accommodating on time. Wonderful massage and techniques. Really helps with my pain, let alone relaxation. I had the best massage here. she hit all my hotspots and made me feel relaxed. I recommend scheduling an appointment in advance so you don't have to wait. One of the best around.
