Want to pay to audit your own taxes? This is your place! We sold a condo downtown and also purchased a house last year and wanted to hire a firm to handle everything to ensure we didn't have any issues. At our first meeting they said it would be "a few hundred" but no more than $400 to do our taxes. When the time came to complete our filing, the bill came to a staggering $650, but that's not the best part... Upon my own review of the filing, they omitted multiple items that we supplied receipts for namely, 2 new cars. This error (once fixed) reduced our owed amount by $520!! Not only did they brush
