Dr. Furlan graduated from Penn's Dental school a few decades ago and then attended Wharton's MBA program in Health Economics. His obsession for all things technical in dentistry makes him the kind of person you should want as your dentist, so long as you don't have to live with him (his wife and two kids approved this message).
She's our gentle, sure-handed, experienced and certified Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary. Lauren will amaze you with her infectious laugh and love for what she does. Meeting and helping nice patients is why she does what she does, and she does it very well. We suspect that Lauren most likely enjoyed playing "doctor" at a younger age.
Endorsements from satisfied patients are extremely important. The success of our practice has always been based on word-of-mouth advertising (the nicest people send us their nicest friends and family members!). While most patients are very good judges of a dentists gentleness, compassion and personality, our professional colleagues are the best judges of the quality of our work and the efforts behind the results.

After many years of dental nightmares, I finally found the right dentist! My parents have been going to Dr. Furlan for about 27 years. They always told me how competent he was but having all the dental problems I have had and being referred to "the best" dentists I was reluctant to go to another new dentist and drive from Maryland to Pennsylvania! I did go to Dr Furlan for a few emergency visits while at my parents. I realized from those visits that Dr. Furlan was different than all the other dentists I have been to. My thoughts on Chris as my dentist: He has the hands of a surgeon, a passion for dentistry and has the intelligence to back it up. As a patient that means, while he has experience, he applies his knowledge and research to solve my dental issues uniquely for me. That's highly unusual!
