S&G Properties successfully partners with numerous realtors and brokers - since we do not act as either a buyers or sellers agent in real estate transactions. We will, however, often look into properties on behalf of our clients and advise them with regard to the rental business. Our primary goal is to manage property in such a way that our clients will want to invest in more property.
For a one-time fee of just $550.00 - we will locate and finalize paperwork for residents wishing to lease your property, including credit and criminal background checks. I've been at my duplex since January 2020 and i love it i had heat issues the first day i moved in and they brought me space heaters that night they also made sure someone came out i haven't had any rodent issues this property management , this is the most responsive I've had , when covid hit and i was cut hours they were very understandable with me as long as you communicate with them , thank you for your kindness

S&G has managed my duplex for a couple years and manages it as they would their own. The owner, office staff and maintenance team are all responsive and work within my needs. For me this was a pleasant change after transitioning from another Property Manager that looked out for their company interests ahead of mine as the owner.
Having a rock star Property Manager has been critical to me as an out of state investor and I would hire Bert and his team again. If I buy again in the area I will. I am currently selling my Grand Rapids property to move my investments closer to me and S&G is continuing

Super friendly and laid back office staff. Went to fill out an application before work this morning and was so relieved that it was a painless process, as the moving process is already super stressful as it is. Other places I have applied through seem so complicated, and with me working two jobs, it is a challenge in itself to find time to fill out 1 paper, let alone having to do overcomplicated work to prove I work 2 jobs when the other places could simply just call my managers. So far a great experience with S&G.

Highly questionable customer service and receptionist reluctant to respond or answer and questions regarding a recent property purchase. When asked simple questions such as "have you previously operated, maintenanced, or worked on" the property, receptionist was vague and only concerned with "what is this in regards to" and continued to deflect questions. Obviously questionable behavior for a "honest" establishment, with zero help or initiative to simply assist a new home owner. My recommendation is NEGATIVE due to questionable behavior and immediate attempt at deniability

It is exciting to do laundry at Ridgeview Apartments in Hudsonville, mostly due to the suspense of inserting my quarters in the coin-op machines. Will the washers wash? Will the dryers dry? You just never know. It's like serf roulette. Winners get clean, dry clothes. Losers get to hang their laundry around their apartment, an act deeply symbolic of their life stations. Smoke detectors work great.
