Have you just started a new business? Did you know expenses incurred before a business begins operations are not allowed as current deductions? Generally, these start up costs must be amortized over a period of 180 months beginning in the month in which the business begins. However, based on the current tax provisions, you may elect to deduct up to $5,000 of business start-up and $5,000 of organizational costs paid or incurred.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Baros and Company! I have had my taxes prepared by this company for years and they never seem to disappoint! Mr. Baros and his entire staff are extremely helpful and nice. They prepare your taxes promptly and have superior expertise in their field. I have referred many of my friends and family to this company. I could not imagine it is possible to find better service anywhere else. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

I was email introduced to this CPA, Mr. David Baros, on March 16. For our only and initial phone call this morning, I opened the phone call that I was referred to him from a mutual acquaintance and price shopping for CPA services. Mr. Baros immediately, abruptly, awkwardly and very unfriendly interrupted me and stated he was not going to underprice someone for $30. I was speechless. Especially since he doesn't know the premiums I currently pay for CPA services.
