Services
Our staff of professionals are focused on providing the highest quality care for your animals. Cynthia Olsen graduated from University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, with honors, in 2006. She has always been interested in alternative modalities, as she led holistic groups and conferences while in veterinary school.
We at Ravenswood Animal Hospital LLC consider animal assisted therapy very important. If you have a certified therapy pet and would like a team member to come with you to nursing homes, schools, etc please contact us. Dr. Olsen has been involved with many mentoring programs, so if you are interested in the veterinary field, please contact us.

We’ve been seeing Dr Marisa for 8 years and I am SO grateful to have Ravenswood and Marisa for our pets. All of the staff is incredibly kind and helpful and I always know my pets are getting the absolute best care and consideration when they are being seen there. My dogs have had so many different isssues and they are always met with plenty of options, kindness, and love. I’ve had to put down several pets due to illness and they made the experience so incredibly special despite how hard it was. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done. I will always trust the opinion and feedback

Only here to fully back Nicolle Woods' comment from a couple months ago. They're all about the $$$$. I also have an older dog, 11 years. He's starting to get the typical fatty pockets, slowing down, etc. The last couple times we've taken him all they can talk about is this or that unnecessary procedure. Sometimes even skipping right to like, a full on biopsy, before anything else less invasive is considered. Super silly. We're changing vets now.

I have has persistent issues with Ravenswood Animal Hospital, and this most recent one just took the cake.
It is clear that the actual care of animals is secondary to charging for unnecessary procedures.
In short, after expressing concern about something seemingly protruding from my dog's skin/fur, rather than the Vet starting off by looking, with her eyes, they immediately started a full exam on my dog ($$$), despite my animal not having any alarming symptoms, my animal having just had a full exam ($$$) and me expressing that I was not in a financial position to drop hundreds of dollars at that

We've been taking our little Boxer girl to Ravenswood Animal Hospital ever since we got her, and we wouldn't go anywhere else! All of the staff there are very loving and compassionate towards all fur babies! We followed Dr. Olsen to this facility when we learned that she started her own practice, and we couldn't be happier!
