I hate finding a new dentist but I chose Orange Coast Dental due to its location and decent reviews. When I called to schedule an appointment, they had lots of availability but they required that the first appointment not be a cleaning because they needed to do x-rays and an exam first. When I arrived for my appointment, the space was clean with new equipment. The staff was friendly. I hadn't seen a dentist in about a year but I thought it was strange they didn't ask for past dental records or x-rays. I didn't wait long to be taken back for the x-rays. After the exam, they said

Excessive fees, requires 48 hours to reschedule without fees. Does not follow up. Had a bad crown they said they would fix under warranty, they never did fix it. I would avoid. Scheduling is difficult and they don't follow up with your insurances. Received multiple notifications from my second insurance that they were not responsive

I waited two months to come in for a check-up and a basic cleaning on a Saturday (so I don't have to miss work) as a new patient. When I arrived and met the dentist, I was told that they don't do cleanings on Saturdays!? I have been going to Orange Coast Dental since I moved to SoCal. Dr Nazeri and staff always make my visits enjoyable and the new equipment and office design make you feel more like you are at a spa than a dental office. I've had cleanings, fillings, and other work done there and have always left with a smile :)

In short: Doctor was extremely rough/rushed/damaging in her cleaning, I was mislead and not informed on the difference between a deep cleaning and a routine cleaning, and the result cost me $165.

I absolutely love Dr. Nazeri & her work. I have moved away but honestly if I ever need work done on my teeth I would fly back at her office in a heart beat, she's the only Dentist I've trusted & she really tries hard to help me, as well as all her patients. They took me in as a new patient on 12/8/20 knowing they will no longer accept my insurance in 2021. The dentist knew that I wanted to get all my work done by end of year but basically said I don’t need to rush because HMO benefits don’t expire like PPO. Why would she say this knowing they already filed the paperwork to stop working with HMOs? I just got mail from my dentist that this office stopped working with my insurance on 12/1/20. What?? They insurance company has opened a case to investigate why they would take me as a patient knowing all this information.

I was a patient of Dr. Nazeri's for about two years. I only ever really saw her for my routine cleanings. I'd never had an issue or any reason to complain or have any negative feelings during that time...until this January.

I was dreading going to the dentist. I put it off too long and it made what I needed all that more invasive. My faith has been restored. No more frivolous up charging, just the treatment I need. I love this dentist, Of course I only ever go when I have a problem or pain, I know I should go more often as I need a lot of work done but time and time again they always get me in last minute. I have had two root canals here and they are super cool about it, non judgmental and affordable.
I'm heading in today for another root canal...
Update: saw Dr. Tran and it went really well, this guy knows his stuff and is a great dentist. I seriously can't recommend him enough. Zero pain, which is a first for me and root canals.
