Ronald H. Rappaport is a founding managing director of Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan & Hackney, LLC in Edgartown, MA. He has more than forty years of experience in the areas of municipal law, civil litigation and real estate law. He was a partner at Friedman and Atherton in Boston before returning to his native Martha's Vineyard in 1985 to start his own firm.
James F. Reynolds is a founding managing director of Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan & Hackney LLC and has more than thirty years of experience in the areas of real estate law, probate law and municipal law. He is known for his detailed analysis of complicated title matters and has served as Land Court examiner on numerous cases.
S. Fain Hackney is a managing director of Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan & Hackney, LLC and has more than two decades of experience in the areas of real estate law, commercial finance and corporate law. Mr. Hackney joined the firm in 1996 after practicing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1987 until 1996.
Jane D. Kaplan is a founding director of Reynolds, Rappaport, Kaplan & Hackney, LLC. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she attended Wellesley College for one year, but then transferred to Yale University when it opened its doors to women. Before moving to the Vineyard in 1985, she was an associate and then a junior partner at the firm of Hale & Dorr in Boston.
