We offer a wide range of services including medical, diagnostic, surgical, and preventive health care needs for your pet so they live a longer, healthier, happier life. Diagnostic Services: Our animal hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
What is Petly? Piper Glen Animal Hospital participates with the Petly program, which is an online database to help you keep track of your pets' health records. Your Petly page makes it easy to view your pet's medical history and appointment details all in one secure place. You can also check your page for pet health-related news and educational articles.
If your pet will be receiving vaccination updates during the boarding stay, we require you to check them in at least 2-3 hours prior to closing. This is for the safety of your pet. After receiving a vaccination, reactions can begin occurring within hours. Even if your pet hasn't reacted to a vaccine in the past, a reaction can occur any time a vaccine is given.
Treat your pet to a luxurious salon bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and pet odor. Your pet will feel fresh and revitalized! Salon Baths include bathing, drying, nail trim, brief ear cleaning, and external anal gland expression (internal expression with a technician available upon request for an additional fee.)

I took my puppy here for her first grooming appointment and was not pleased with the haircut or lack of professionalism. When I called to make the appointment I was told it should only take an hour or two for grooming. I brought my dog in around 8 and ran some errands. I came back around 10:30 because I had to go to school and couldn’t pick her up later. When I arrived, I called to ask when she’d be done and they said they were finishing up. I am so very disappointed in this practice. I was recommended to come here from someone close to me, and while initially I was impressed, things have drastically changed. I was schedule to have my puppy neutered with this practice for 8/31, not only did I have to call to get an estimate, no one at the front desk could give me even a range of what this procedure would cost and told me I would need to wait to have someone from clinical contact me with this information. We’ve been taking our dogs to Piper Glen Animal Hospital for both veterinary services & boarding ever since moving to south Charlotte in 2013. My parents took their dog to the wonderful vets & boarding facility for a good 7 years before that, so you could say we’re fans. Dr. Brown has been especially helpful since our COVID-19 rescue of a Treeing Walker Coonhound, as she grew up around them.

I cannot give enough shout outs to Piper Glen Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Greg Wood. He has seen my pets for over 20 years. It’s always been sooo caring & efficient. Sadly I lost my kitty of 17 years today. I could have not asked for any more respect & caring. 5 plus stars to Piper Glen Animal Hospital!!

I called here on Friday and made an appointment for my dog due to the fact there was an unidentified growth on her back foot, she was an extreme pain, it was bleeding and hurt her to the point that she couldn’t even walk very well. Due to the fact that I had work here prior and left, I was called and told by the manager Jessica,an hour later,… telling me that I was not welcome there due to the fact that they felt ” uncomfortable”, she was very rude and extremely unprofessional.
