I was born and raised in Scotland and moved to the United States in 1991 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh. I hold a master's degree in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina and worked for 18 years as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist.
After experiencing the restorative powers of massage therapy as a client myself, I felt drawn to study more about the field and obtained my massage therapy certification from the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC in 2005. Since then, I have maintained a successful private practice in Asheville, North Carolina, treating hundreds of people throughout my career.

This is so we can discuss any medical issues, as well as your specific needs that day. You can choose between several aromatherapy massage oil / body butter blends or unscented oil. When our intake session is complete, I step out of the room to wash my hands and give you privacy while you undress to your level of comfort.
