Adult, Child & Family Counseling was started over 30 years ago with a mission to support those in need with compassion and empathy. Serving Wichita and surrounding communities, our goal is to provide the best possible care for individuals and families through the challenging times of life. Sessions last 50-55 minutes. Most clients are seen once or twice per week in the beginning, then, as treatment progresses, less frequently. The number of sessions depends on each person's needs and can be discussed openly with your therapist. Of course the length of treatment varies with each person, the nature of the problem, and the agreed-upon goals.
We are located West of I-235 on Central across the street from Eric Fisher Academy in the same drive as Two Brothers BBQ. Turn north from Central and go past Two Brothers and take an immediate right turn to reach our offices located in the rear lot off of the street. We accept most major insurance and offer appointments during the day and evenings (as available).

I have been going to this office since 2015 and this office is amazing! Maybe I love it so much because the therapist I see is AMAZING! My review is based entirely on customer service. I called on a Wednesday to make an appointment as a new patient and my information was taken. I was told I’d be called back in 5 min. I called back 2 hrs later to check in and the receptionist apologized and said she was still waiting to hear back from a therapist. She said she’d get back with me ASAP. I called again the following Tuesday, 6 days later. I got a different receptionist. She was super apologetic and I decided I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. Apparently they’d lost my info. I feel extremely blessed to have found ACF counseling. To sum it up without saying too much at all,I have a BALL of issues I've been working through and thanks to My therapist and the staff there , I'm FINALLY getting the help I need and more! Tammy is an Excellent recommendation if your going to get set up here from my personal experience. Shes super professional, understanding, realistic and most importantly: HELPS! I was very disappointed at being unable to attend my grandchild's therapy session because of the chemical saturation of scented air freshener or scented candle in this office. Have some consideration for those of us who are allergic to such scents as they cause asthma and migraines and outright anaphylatic shock in some cases.
