We started Bain Construction, LLC as a family adventure. I began my career as a teacher of Honors English literature, Latin, and Classical Studies in 2003. Soon after, for investment and enjoyment, my father Terrell and I began building spec homes in Lincoln County, TN. What began as an experiment soon turned into a success as more and more individuals began to ask us for custom homes.
Eventually, I made the choice to focus on architecture. I enjoyed teaching tremendously. Helping young people find and create beauty--in language, in art and architecture--was a great joy of my life. I learned from the experiences in the classroom, and those lessons have helped Bain Construction in surprising ways: it is all in the attitude.
