Farhat Family Homes is a family business that was established in 2008 by lifetime Royal Oak residents, John and Julie Farhat. What started out as a small bungalow remodel has since grown into a new construction building company with over 70 homes built in and around Royal Oak. While the business has evolved over the years, one thing has not changed.

John was amazing to work with. I live out of state and had numerous updates/improvements to make to the house before it was listed. He provided me contact info to reliable contractors and was always available to answer questions in a timely manner. He aggressively marketed the house and provided updates regularly. He made the entire process stress free for me from listing to closing. I would highly recommend him.

Many neighbors bought the house that John Farhat's new built directly or indirectly from him, Many have concerning about the quality of the new house that he built , over pricing, etc... our back new home owner moved in Oct 2020 said that he has heard lots of problems about the quality of the new houses at his Royal Oak old neighborhood that John Farhat's new built in past many years, he was not surprised when he heard about our story.

John Farhat is a superb builder and property developer. We purchased our home from him in 2016 and we have no regrets. John and team have enormous attention to detail and build quality homes with superb finishes. As time went on after purchasing our home, every time we have had questions, John has made certain that he or his team attended to our questions. When we looked for a new home we were considering building in Birmingham. After meeting John and a superb realtor, David Corp, we decided Royal Oak was the place for us. John Farhat is Not a Honest and Responsible real estate agent and licensed builder that is for sure, do not let him fool you.
John Farhat built a new house sold in May 2018 that has created Water Nuisance to our garage, side walk, drive way and damp our back yards along the fence. He suggested us to install a underground drain along their fence at our side to drain the storm and rain water from his new house after we first contacted him, he said that he was nice enough to help us to find out what is the problem as it is not his house any more.
