My name is Ted Johnson and I have been practicing dentistry in the St. Croix Valley since 1987. Over that time period one of the more gratifying aspects of my career is interacting with families and watching kids grow. I pride myself on my ability to connect with people of all ages to not only understand what they need but what they want.

We pride ourselves in utilizing the most modern equipment and methods available. In order to provide nothing but the best to our patients, our office uses modern technologies in all our procedures.
Each dental office seems to have its own identity and personality. At Ted Johnson dentist we seem to have a very relaxed environment that has attracted families for years. Both parents and kids seem to love Dr. Ted and his easy mannerisms. It is very apparent he likes kids and can be as silly as they are.
Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. During dental bonding, a white filling is placed onto your tooth to improve its appearance. The filling "bonds" with your teeth, and because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth.
Crowns are full coverage restorations that are used to cover a tooth that is likely to break, or is too broken down to be restored with a filling. They are most commonly done after root canal treatment, or when a large filling wears out. The larger the hole made by a cavity that has to be treated, the more likely a crown will be needed.

Dr Ted Johnson and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Not only are they very well informed and very up-to-date on dental practices they are all extremely kind and compassionate. Dr. Johnson and his team always take the time to explain things to you and have your best interest in mind. If you are a bit of a worrier about going to the dentist no worries! They have nitrous oxide if you have high anxiety they will use it to lower your anxiety and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Doctor Johnson and his staff for your dental needs.

I've never really enjoyed going to the dentist but the office environment and the staff make it a very warm and comfortable place to visit. They are so genuine and caring that it shows as soon as you enter the door.
There is a reason they've been voted best dentist in the valley. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a better experience.
