We are a small dental practice located in London, Ky. We opened our doors in August of 2004 and haven't looked back. We are a family dental practice and we see patients of all ages. Our main focus is on general dental procedures, but we also provide care in Cosmetic and Implant dentistry as well as minor orthodontics.

Services
Before the extraction, you will be given an anesthetic to reduce your discomfort. Your mouth will remain numb for a few hours after the extraction. While your mouth is numb, you'll want to be careful not to bite your cheek, lip or tongue. After the extraction, do not eat any foods that require chewing while your mouth is numb.

Absolutely thrilled with Dowell Family Dentistry! Our family drives over 800 miles from our home in New York to have Chip and Stephanie do our dental work. They're THAT good!
I'm personally horrified of needles and needing to have dental work done. Chip did a great job of calming my nerves and walking me through my cavity filling today. What a blessing they are!

Normally I’d give this place a top notch review since they did such good work for me years ago, but I’m not pleased with how I was treated this morning. I has scheduled this appointment about a week ago, but my husband’s car tore up and he needed to drive my car to work out of town. I called Dowell Family Dentistry to let them know that due to car trouble I would not be able to make my appointment. She says to me that she has canceled it and there’s a $50 cancellation fee that I have to pay if I ever want to be rescheduled with them again, and that I’d have to pay first in order for that

Absolutely loved my experience at Dowell Family Dentistry, and I would recommend them to anyone. The staff is great and tried their hardest to make me feel comfortable. Today, I noticed a broken piece of tooth was coming off one of my molars. I immediately called Dr. Chip and was told to come in to have it checked out this afternoon. Even though I didn’t have an actual appointment, they took me right back for X-rays, and indeed, I had a broken tooth! Dr. Dowell had it fixed, filled, and filed smooth in a short time! I appreciate the kindness and immediacy taken during my broken tooth encounter!!
