In just a few visits, our patient's pain levels are reduced, and in some cases eliminated altogether. We have many success stories here with this technology. In fact, we are the only practice in Houma that has access to this technology. Well, good blood circulation is one of the key components in the healing process.
The newest treatment we will offer at my clinic is Dry Needling. Dry Needling is effective in normalizing pain, reducing inflammation and swelling, and helping the body to heal. The concept of using needles to alleviate pain and improve health goes back many centuries with acupuncture. There are some significant differences between acupuncture and dry needling though.
Along with chiropractic, spinal decompression, dry needling and cold laser therapy, we have added a new pain relieving treatment option, NeuroMed. As with all our other pain relieving protocols, we provide treatments that do not require medication. Medications of course contain significant side effects and even create a dependence on them, which we always want to avoid.
This year marks 30 years since I graduated from chiropractic college! So many things have changed and progressed since I first began practice. While maintaining the traditions of care I learned in school, I have made a continual effort to incorporate the latest research and technologies to help my patients get the best and quickest results possible.
