The functional/integrative approach of HEALTH care is based on the idea that the body is an inter-related system, and that no part works all by itself, without having some effect on other parts of the body. We use tests to look for patterns of dysfunction to connect the dots on how the body is functioning or dysfunctioning to coorelate WHY you may be experiencing ill health.

Autoimmune conditions have exploded to epidemic proportions over the last few decades. Living with an autoimmune disease can be a lonely experience. Many people wait years to find out why they're sick, and once they're finally diagnosed, they receive few options from their doctor.

To do this, we help you understand how you got to where you are in the first place, and how to get back on track. You are NOT BROKEN. But there may be underlying broken mechanisms within your body, that we can understand and fix. Rather than use drugs, surgeries, and treatments of the Allopathic model, we use FUNCTIONAL treatments that are the cutting edge of health care and health OPTIMIZATION.

This comprehensive form covers your medical history in depth; everything from your family history, lifestyle, medications, nutrition, exercise, injuries and traumas, stress, sleep, mood, symptoms, and overall life and health trajectory.Dr. Rooks reviews this intake form ahead of your initial consultation to ascertain what clinical testing needs to be done in order to assess your physiology and find PATTERNS.

PATH Integrative uses blood, saliva, urine, and stool testing to help you determine what systems or mechanisms are malfunctioning in your body. These malfunctions may not have caused serious disease yet, therefore, they remain undetected by your conventional doctor's tests. Collect saliva samples during the specified time windows, and record times of meals/snacks throughout the day.
