It is always very exciting for individuals under Chiropractic Care to experience the unexpected benefits that chiropractic can provide. Some benefits can be not getting sick as often and the feeling of more energy after getting their spines adjusted just to name a few. Often adults are recommended to see a Chiropractor when experiencing neck pain and/or low back pain.
It is always so exiting for a family to learn how beneficial Chiropractic Care is to children. And even after the children have healed through the care they received, parents include chiropractic into their regular Wellness Schedule. Infants and children have a nervous system that is growing at a very accelerated rate.

In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."
