We pride ourselves on being a comprehensive trauma sensitive wellness center and are specifically trained in the unique needs of crime and trauma survivors. Connections Counseling practitioners have extensive experience in working with PTSD and trauma and use evidenced-based treatments such as: EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Somatic Trauma Work.
Our hourly rates vary depending on the therapist. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. For individuals and families who do not have resources to pay, we offer a sliding scale. Please contact us for details. Not all of our practitioners are contracted with each insurance company, so please check when you call to inquire about services.
At Connections Counseling, our goal is to provide high quality accessible counseling services to individuals, couples, and families regardless of their income. Most of our clinicians offer several sliding scale options and we have two clinicians that are a part of Connections' Clinical Training Program and offer sessions for up to $40/hour.
Connections Counseling offers a convenient location to serve clients in Wheat Ridge, Lakewood, Golden, Arvada and throughout the Denver metro area. Our office is centrally located just off of I-70 & Youngfield, within walking distance to several bus stop locations. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Do not waste your time at this place. I wasted about 5 weeks for Stacey to say absolutely nothing and also for her to make her own diagnosis from a questionnaire. I would note that psychotherapists can not make a diagnosis that is the psychiatrist's job! Apparently this woman has forgot that. After getting a diagnosis (from a psychiatrist), all she had to say was I don't specialize in treating anxiety. I understand her specialty says treatment for people with trauma but to wait over five weeks for her to say little to nothing during sessions and to come up with her own diagnosis I would not recommend
