The goal of cosmetic dentistry is to turn a dull smile into a dazzling one. We had several options to restore teeth that are crooked, chipped, are stained or discolored, have gaps, or have uneven gums. We work with your personal goals for your smile and provide solutions that provide stellar oral health.
No one likes being in tooth pain. We understand that, and strive to be available for folks from Eden Prairie and the surrounding communities, to accommodate for emergencies that happen in life. We can get you in quickly and efficiently determine the problem and present solutions. If you have dental insurance we can also provide a close estimate of your actual out of pocket and often provide same-day service to get you out of pain.
When the pulp of a tooth becomes infected or dies, root canal therapy is necessary to save the tooth. It is generally comfortable treatment that can save your tooth and keep your mouth healthy. You may realize that you have an infected tooth when: the tooth is sensitive to hot or cold, the tooth hurts with biting or pressure, there is throbbing severe tooth pain, the area is swollen, or you have a bad taste in your mouth.
A dental implant is an excellent treatment for replacing a single or multiple missing teeth. Often a small titanium post is used to replace the root of a missing tooth and a custom fitted crown is secured to the implant. The implant will preserve the jawbone and keep it healthy while being strong, comfortable, and secure.

First time back at the dentist since the start of COVID-19, and this was the best dental experience I have ever had. My hygienist, Jess, was high energy and kind. She made sure I knew what she was doing every step of the way by explaining what to expect with each new tool and showing me the pictures of my teeth. Even when she recommended sealants on some of my teeth, she looked up if my insurance would cover it and gave me the price upfront. I was even able to get the sealants done during the appointment. Had a 5 year old crown/CEREC that decide to pop off over the weekend. Team was able to squeeze me in Monday morning and I was enjoying a donut and coffee 30 minutes later when I was brave enough to drink (needed the caffeine to offset the Novocain - ha). Great teamwork where everyone was chipping in to fit me in, and get everything as good as new. Have to find a better weight loss plan since tooth is back in place. Thanks Molldrem Team!!

Atmosphere was warm with friendly staff and clean facilities. Hygienist did an awesome job being quick and efficient. Doctor was prepared for visit ahead of time and very professional. Technology was up to date. Free whitening trays for new patients is an added bonus. Would recommend and look forward to going back.

I have always had a difficult time with sensitivity in my mouth while having dental work done. This has made it very hard for me to have just the basic of procedures done. i was referred to Molldrem by a friend saying that they are very passionate about making patients feel relaxed and taken care of. I will say this was an understatement. I have a great amount of work done by Dr. Molldrem and his AMAZING staff because of neglect over the last 30 years. They use a very high-tech approach to making sure that things are right and most importantly done right the first time. I cannot say enough about

Everyone is always so friendly and inviting at Molldrem Family Dentistry. It's awesome that they have the option to watch TV while getting your teeth cleaned. It makes my appointments a lot more relaxing. Aimee, my hygienist, is always great and comprehensive and Dr. Molldrem is a very knowledgeable and experienced dentist. I know every visit that nothing will go missed. Highly recommend!
