I cannot overstate the 5-star quality of service and peace of mind provided us by the legal representation of James Brown Law throughout our just-closed Florida real estate transaction. This was not a cookie-cutter deal: there were some complexities and twists, my wife and I were 3000 miles away in California the whole time, and there was big money on the line. Jim and Ruti were detailed, thorough, and their counsel was always wise, in my opinion.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this team. I first met them when they were the seller's title company and lawyers for the purchase of my home in West Palm Beach. The purchase was a bit complicated, because my home was both a primary and a short term rental with a 1031 Exchange. They handled everything smoothly. The communication was quick and much was directly with the 1031 company, requiring no intervention on my part (a rarity for me).
My next experience was when he gave me advice regarding a tenant I needed to remove. He gave me sufficient advice that I was able to avoid an eviction

We went through the worst closing experience imaginable and found ourselves needing a real estate lawyer. It was very stressful and we didn't have any idea how to navigate it (a terrible mortgage broker, aggressive seller team, and multiple expired extensions). I called James Brown Law and talked to Jim the same day. After forwarding all our contract information, Ruti and Jim talked with us about options and what we might expect. Very inefficient, stay away from new path title! I represented a buyer in a transaction in West Palm Beach, the seller chose new pass title as their title company. We closed on June 30 and I did not receive my commission check in total July 21! To make matters worse, they shorted the check almost $400! I had to go back to get the additional monies and it took four hours for them to cut a check. Stay away from them, not a good title company!

My sister and I had a real mess with some property that my my parents had owned in Stuart. It was sold contract for deed and when we got it back it had a big lien against it. It took about a year and half, but they got it straightened out!! Eva Ruth Medina handled most of our case and was a absolutely a pleasure to work with!! We had their title branch do our title work and David and Eleni did a great job too!! I live out of state and everything was handled over the phone and through Email!! I highly recommend James Brown and his employees if you need a great lawyer!!

I needed to cancel a contract, and had to get my deposit returned to me. I spoke with the paralegal Ruti, who then rushed my paperwork to Attorney Brown. Within 48 hours they worked to get the contract cancelled, and got all of my money returned to me within the following two days. Their legal fee was not astronomical, but was very fair. The amount of time that they were able to accomplish so much was nothing short of amazing, and great service. I would highly recommend this law firm. I would also use them again if I had another real estate closing, or issue.
