What began as a love of photographing my own children, has turned into a business that I am truly passionate about. By taking classes and workshops, and the experience that I have gained posing, capturing, and editing thousands of images, I have been able to grow my business significantly over the last decade.

Services
I am a photographer, wife, mother of three, & a believer in Jesus. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and we have grown up in Pittsburgh. We chose to stay in the 'Burgh because we love the people here and all 4 seasons. I love hiking, biking, and skiing with my family, and of course I am passionate about photography.
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled during pregnancy. Before your session, we will have a phone consultation, and I will provide you with tips to get those cuddly newborn poses and you can let me know what colors and props to have ready to go for your session. All newborn clients begin by purchasing the Classic Newborn Package.
Some of the photos of my own children are among my most prized possessions. Nothing I can purchase in any store could replace the images of their sweet faces. Let me help you capture photos that you will love this much with a milestone session for your child(ren). 3 month sessions, all the way up through sweet 16, can be uniquely photographed with your child's favorite things and interests in mind.
A senior year is filled with milestones, and it is definitely one worth celebrating in many ways, including portraiture. It is about being on the cusp of something great- the future! Documenting that with professional photos is one way of ensuring that you never forget who you are, RIGHT NOW. After scheduling, we will do a phone consultation to choose the perfect location and outfits for your shoot.
Family photo session are fun! Family photos also make great office and home decor. Getting professional images of your family is an investment that you will never regret. Jamie was awesome, got my sons newborn photos taken by her and they turned out amazing!! She’s like a baby whisperer, any time he started to wake up she instantly got him to fall back asleep. I definitely will be going back to her for his 1 year photos!!

Jamie Virgin Photography exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We hired Jamie for newborn lifestyle photo session as well as 1 year old milestone studio session. Jamie is the best! My son is going on 2 and we have been working with her since he was 6 months. She is always so very patient and sweet with him. Her work is always incredible. I’m surprised by how many great shots she gets even when my little guy doesn’t want to fully cooperate. I recommend both the milestone sessions as well as the fun mini sessions that she offers throughout the year!

Jamie is a true professional! She has been taking my family's pictures for almost 6 years. She is creative, patient, and very good at what she does. I am never disappointed with the pictures she gets of my children. I would say we are more challenging than most with 5 children, but that never seems to phase Jamie. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone!

Her gentle ways with newborns allow her to get the cutest poses.
