If you want to achieve and maintain great oral health, you need to do more than just brush and floss your teeth. While brushing and flossing are important, general dentistry also plays a crucial role in the health and appearance of your smile. General dentistry's goal is to prevent any decay or disease of the mouth, teeth or gums.
A dental filling treatment is a way to restore a decayed or damaged tooth back to its normal function and shape. When your dentist gives you a filling, they remove the decayed tooth material, clean the affected area, and then fill the cleaned-out cavity with a filling material. Fillings are made available from a variety of different materials.
If you want a smile that's your crowning glory, you may need a dental crown to cover a tooth to restore its normal shape and size. Attaching a crown is a secure way to restore damaged teeth and fill the gaps of missing teeth. Help strengthen a tooth with a large filling when there isn't enough tooth remaining to hold the filling.
Do you have missing teeth? Then it might be time to consider getting a dental bridge. A dental bridge is a tooth replacement that fills the space where one or more teeth are missing. The bridge restores your bite and helps keep the natural shape of your face. Dental bridges consist of two or more dental crowns on either side of the gap of your missing teeth to act as anchors and a false tooth or teeth in between.

After a long search, I finally found a clinic that accepts my Aetna DMO plan insurance. I had an urgent case and they were able to make an appointment the next day, which made me very happy. Dr. Alston did all the necessary procedures professionally and painlessly. She also did a full check up and made a plan for my treatment in order of importance and with a known cost.
