A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth. A bridge can be removable or fixed. A fixed bridge requires carefully grinding down the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth so crowns can be placed over them. The replacement tooth is permanently attached to the two crowns which are, in turn, attached to the adjacent teeth.
