A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier.

I had a wonderful experience here. Teresa helped me make appointment for my husband, my baby boy, and me via email in a very thoughtful and effective way. The dentist Dr. Carratt and her assistants were very friendly and professional. They not only provided estimated cost for my fillings prior to my appointment but also kindly followed up with me afterwards. Highly recommended! I’m so glad I found this place upon moving to the Sammamish area.

I have been going to see Jason Widner and the team there for about 5 years now. I have had everything done from fillings, root canal, veneer's and removal of wisdom teeth (broken wisdom teeth). Jason and the rest of the team are so caring and gentle. I have terrible anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and they all make me feel so comfortable. I will absolutely go to no other dentist office. I recommend Dr. Jason Widner, DMD 10000%. There is a reason every review on here is 5 stars! You will not be disappointed!!

Going tot he dentist sure isn't at all what it used to be! Dr. Widner...and his excellent staff made my trip for otherwise very uncomfortable issues a painless breeze! I neglected my gums and had a crown problem. They totally solved both problems and it was actually an interesting experience. Thank you Doctor and again thank you to the great staff!

Wow! I have a phobia going to the dentist, and so I don’t go. Unfortunately my jaw was hurting and it was time to go. My bff recommended this place and it did not disappoint. I had a 4 quad and a filling all done at once and it was painless. Also everyone was super nice! I guess I’ll be going to the dentist more frequently now! I completely recommend.

I've been going here for years and I've never had a problem with anyone here. Counter staff is kind and very helpful and accommodating. Dentists and hygienists are very friendly and have never steered me wrong. The feedback you get here is honest and fair. While other dentist offices in Issaquah have pressured my family to do cosmetic care, this office does their best to give you quality care and honest opinions about what is absolutely necessary.
