I provide supportive counseling to individuals in high-conflict work, marital or family relationships, and legal disputes (divorce, contested custody, coparenting). I am one of the few therapists in this area who specializes in working with high conflict divorces and coparenting issues during active litigation.
I offer highly structured coparenting counseling to improve child-centered communication and increase consistency between homes. Unfortunately, most parents in high conflict divorces receive coparenting services after the divorce is finalized. By that time unhealthy communication patterns between the parents have solidified and become more difficult to change.
Parenting Coordination is a child centered process intended for high conflict coparents whose children are at risk for for harm due to exposure to parental conflict, poor parental communication and chronic difficulty in making decisions regarding their children. Parenting Coordination (PC) is a relatively new form of alternative dispute resolution.
