Brian James Photo Studio is a full service photography studio in Philadelphia PA's Chestnut Hill neighborhood. The studio is nestled in a cozy setting surrounded by trees ideal for both indoor and outdoor sessions. We specialize in portraits, architectural and event photography. If you are not in the Philadelphia area we do travel to photograph portraits, events and weddings.
Services
Once a photography session booking is made, we'll have a pre-session consultation via the phone or email. It is a chance for us to chat about your vision and hopes for the shoot as well as any questions you may have. It will also help me get a feel for your family's style and dynamics. You will then receive a style guide that provides lots of different looks and tips of what photographs best (and what does not).
You will receive a digital gallery of images and select your favorites. You can order prints directly form the site or download the files and have them printed at a service of your choice. Online Gallery, digital download and print release included. Head shot and Lifestyle Plus- " Building your comp card and book!"
What is included? During our session we will take several photos that I will edit and send to you via a link for you to view. After the vows are said and that last dance is done, gorgeous photographs allow you to revisit your most cherished moments time and again. Our photography packages are tailor made to every couple's individual needs and desires. Our intention is to commemorate your special day with artistic, candid and posed images.

In both the east coast and the west coast (NY and LA) agents always pick his takes above any other photographers I've worked with. He's also an amazing human being, and a joy to work with. Brian James Photography is your best option for Philadelphia headshots. He has state of the art equipment, extensive knowledge of lighting set-ups, and will work with you to get you the look you want. He's personable and makes you feel relaxed and at your best. His studio is nestled away in Chestnut Hill, and you get to play with his dogs in between setups!

Brian has photographed our family more than once and the photos are fantastic! He came to our home and has a great eye for setting and background. His easy, friendly manner meant that everyone was relaxed with natural smiles and laughs. We all loved the many photos he took and the price was very reasonable! Will definitely use him again!

Loved working with Brian. Made the experience fun and productive, does not waste any time, and gives lots of good direction. I've taken photos with my kid, and by myself, both experiences were extremely positive. Always on the search for a child photographer who is patient with unpredictable kids and I've found my go to.

I was searching for a professional photographer to do my head shots. Brian James came highly recommended and he exceeded my expectations. I had a 2 hour session with him that generated almost 300 photos. He made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed which turned out to produce some excellent head shots. He captured the look I was going for which has helped open a lot of doors for my acting career. I loved working with him because he is an excellent photographer and he is a quality human being.
