I experienced a significant trauma in my early childhood, but back then, mental health was not something that was discussed like it is today. Depression is a common condition that can be serious and affects individuals of all ages. Most people will first experience depression in their late teens or early adulthood. If it goes untreated, it can greatly impact your life. When depression is left undiagnosed or untreated, the likelihood of suicidal thoughts and self-harm can increase and threaten your sense of well-being.

Maybe it's your relationship with your in-laws, your relationship with your boss, or issues in your romantic life.
