As the suburban market developed in the 1970s, Max Derbes III moved the firm to its current location within the Elmwood Business Park. Since then, the firm has played an active role in the brokerage and management of industrial real estate throughout the metropolitan New Orleans area.

As President and Managing Broker of Max J. Derbes, Inc., David has over 30 years experience in the New Orleans commercial real estate market and is consistently among the top producing brokers in the metro area. Since graduation from Tulane. Gerard began his real estate career in 1990 shortly after graduating from Louisiana State University with a degree in Economics.
