Dr. Kabir provides comprehensive dental care for our patients at Downer Place Dental in Aurora. She received her dental degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and completed a specialized Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Highland Hospital in California focusing on caring for children and adults with special needs, emergency dentistry, oral surgery, and much more.
Dr. Patel was born and brought up in India. She received her dental degree from D.Y.Patil Dental college, Navi Mumbai. She practiced in India for few years before moving to USA. She went to University of Illinois college of dentistry and received DMD degree. She was honor student for pediatric dentistry.
Regular dental cleanings and exams are vital to maintaining your oral health and preventing future complications. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that patients visit a dentist twice every year. Most insurances will cover two visits as a result of this recommendation. This is because traditional brushing methods are unable to remove tartar, though plaque prevention is still possible.

I have been going to this location since I was a kid and never have I ever experienced a receptionist (Gabby) so rude. I called twice to make an appointment for a cleaning & bonding. Once I got there I was seen by a doctor who explained what I needed. I get to the front to schedule my appt for bonding and Gabby informed me that I would have to schedule another appt for a consultation. After explaining that this appt was suppose to be scheduled for that and my frustration. She then informed me that I have to be seen by a different doctor to make sure I don’t have cavities and etc . I told her

I took my 6 year old son here after going to all star dental (very bad experience/not kid friendly at all) and I will continue to bring my son here! The staff were very friendly and patient with him along with other kids(I could overhear)!! Definitely a very kid friendly place and I appreciate that especially my son!!!

This place is B.S. My son had an appointment at 2pm. Wasn’t brought into the room until 15 mins later. Half an hour passes and was told that the dr. was running behind because one of the rooms isn’t working. No communication. I would’ve appreciated if I was told earlier that there was going to be a long wait. Then I would’ve decided if I wanted to wait or reschedule. It’s hard to find a good dentist office around the Aurora area. Very disappointed!

I really am impressed with the professionalism of the staff at the clinic. The girls are very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. The previous dental clinic I attended had a less caring staff and they always hurt me, even with the routine teeth cleaning.
The dental technicians at Downer Place Dental were very gentle and careful. It’s normally hard for people to be relaxed at a dentist clinic, but I was.

I love my daughter’s current dentist at Downer Place Dental. She’s super kid friendly which makes my child feel at ease. The dental hygienists are also very sweet! The most personable and professional. I just removed one star because I wish they had more availability when booking follow up appointments for children with special needs such as needing laughing gas, etc. Overall, I recommend Downer Place Dental.
