Services
Southside Veterinary Clinic is proud to serve Fort Worth, TX and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care.
I grew up on a farm in Vernon, Oklahoma. I went to Veterinary School at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where I graduated in 2000. I practiced at Benbrook Animal Hospital for several years and began working part time work at Southside Veterinary Clinic in 2007. It didn't take long for me to become an associate veterinarian here working full time.
Preventative medicine is important when our pets are young, but as our pets age, and become prone to certain disease processes, annual exams and blood work become even more important. Annual exams and simple blood work to check liver and kidney values, along with thyroid function have the potential to alert us to early changes that may give us important information about your pet's health.
We are proud to provide Fort Worth, TX and the surrounding communities with boarding services. We practice the highest standards of care and cleanliness for patients staying with us. We know that it takes a great deal of trust to leave your pet with someone else, so we want to assure you that we are professional, highly trained, and most of all, we love pets.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

I would highly recommend anyone with pets go see Dr. Dozier! She is amazing. We have been using the Southside Vet Clinic for years. Dr. Dozier took over the practice a few years ago and we couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Dozier is extremely knowledgeable , patient and truly cares about our pets as much as we do. She is very reasonably priced. … When I hear what friends are paying at other clinics, I always encourage them to try Southside. Dr. Dozier wants you to be able to get treatment for your pets and does not price gouge. Her rates are reasonable and the care our animals get is amazing

The entire staff is helpful and Dr. Dozier is careful to explain all options and reasoning for testing. I felt assured and comforted when making hard decisions for my sweet Cammi. They also have an educator discount. I can't thank them enough for helping keep her as healthy as possible and showing extreme compassion when it was time for her to leave us.
