Dr. Blaine Curtis started Bay Chiropractic Center at the corner Park Street and Main Street in Rockland in May of 1996. Our goal has always been to provide complete, cutting edge chiropractic care in a comfortable and friendly office setting. We work in conjunction with medical physicians and physical therapists in the Midcoast area and with specialists throughout Maine to create the most comprehensive health treatment plans so that we can provide you with the best care available.

Bay Chiropractic Center started as a single-doctor practice with a single Chiropractic Assistant. That remains unchanged today. Our focus is continuity of care within the office. You will always see Dr. Curtis for your adjustments and either Dr. Curtis or our C.A. Monica, for therapies. We pride ourselves on having a warm and welcoming office with familiar faces to greet you at every appointment.
Our goal is to provide an array of chiropractic adjusting ranging from gentle Activator and Impulse adjusting, Thompson Drop, Cox Flexion-Distraction, to completely hands-on dynamic adjusting. This allows us to accommodate a wide variety of patients including infants and the elderly. We use tried and true physiotherapy modalaties such as ultrasound, TENS, Interferential Stimulation and microcurrent.

Just went in for my first Chiropractic experience.
They made the experience very easy and gave me great tips on exercises when I'm at home. The chiropractor and the receptionist were as kind as I could have hoped for. Not sure if I'll need to go back to a Chiro yet, but If I do... I'll be going to Bay Chiropractic.

Bay Chiropractic is a great place to go. I've been going to him over the last 6 years and he does a great job for me. He helps me with my headaches, out of alignment, and when I've taken a fall. I would highly recommend him. He is in a new place which is very nice. I want to thank Monica his wife for always getting me in quickly. They are both very pleasant people.

Parking can be an issue as there is no parking lot for this business. The waiting area is small and cramped, hours of operation are “unusual” and the billing practices are bizarre.
Dr Curtis is a competent chiropractor however all things considered, there are better chiropractic offices in the area.
