James Johnson, CPA, is a small boutique firm located in Reno, Nevada, providing tax, accounting and consulting services for businesses and individuals. The firm recently relocated to its current location, which will allow for continued growth into the 21st century. James is licensed by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nevada Society of CPAs.
Taxation is about understanding how the Code and Regulations apply to your situation. For most, it's not complicated. For others, it can become complicated very quickly when you are self-employed, or own rental property, or have complicated brokerage transactions, or lived or worked in multiple states during the tax year, or are a member of a pass-through entity such as an LLC, partnership or S corporation.
