It's tough to raise a family these days. Your schedule is hectic, everyone is busy and there's little time to spend together and to cherish one another. At New Perspectives we understand the challenges that families and parents face everyday. That's why our therapy sessions are designed to help families that are overwhelmed, stressed and even exhausted.
Dr. Blair Watkins is a certified family nurse practitioner in Kansas. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2019 and Bachelor's of Nursing in 2015 from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. She also graduated from Kansas State University with her Bachelor's in Public Health Nutrition in 2012.
Jennifer received her Master's Degree in Psychology from Emporia State University in 2001. She has worked both as a therapist and administrator in community mental health and in private practice. Jennifer has worked in the field of counseling since 2007. With more than 15 years of experience under her belt, she will be an outstanding addition to our clinic.
Brent is also a new addition to our clinic, but he has been a part of the counseling community for a long time. He has been a counselor for both individuals and married couples for the past 24 years. Brent works with a variety of insurance companies to get you the help you need, at a cost that you can afford.

I have seen Ali Funk for a total of 3 years, I think, and she has helped me through the difficult things life throws at me. Always there when I need her! The staff are always kind and get me in as soon as they can. Cheryl tan works the medication side of things and she always seems to care about my life and listens when I need an ear. Honestly I dont know where I'd be today if it wasnt for new perspectives!

My little loves Ali. She makes herself available whenever needed, including communicating important information on her own personal time. I've gotten prompt responses on a Sunday even. She very obviously cares about the wellbeing of the people in her care and is flexible and kind in her interactions.
