Services
When Moler's Camera opened its doors back in 1946 it was as Moler's Camera Clinic, and Bob's father Orville was head repairman. Today we strive to do as many repairs as possible locally, but the nature of the photo industry has shifted towards more hi-tech gadgetry and often expensive test and calibration equipment is needed for many repairs.
We offer more video transfer services at better prices than anywhere else in the Wichita metro area. We transfer from VHS, Hi 8, Digital 8, VHS-C, and Mini DV to DVD. We also transfer 8mm, Super 8, and 16mm home movie film to DVD. We can take your digital camera movies and transfer them to standard DVDs that can be played on almost any DVD player.
We can transfer most consumer audio recordings to audio CDs or MP3 files. If you've got old family recordings sitting about in a box because you no longer have a functioning tape deck or record player to listen to them on, bring them in and let us convert them to something you can actually play. We can even transfer most old reel-to-reel audio tape and early 78 RPM records.
Do you have treasured old family photos that are faded and falling apart? Or are they just odd sized and you're having trouble finding a frame that fits? Let us digitally restore and print your family photos in a modern standard framing size. Digitization starts at a minimum of $3.00 for up to an 810 sized original but beyond that price varies depending on size and complexity of the original.
We proudly use Dwayne's Photo, located in Parsons, Kansas, for all of our film processing needs. Founded in 1956, Dwayne's Photo is just a few years younger than us, and is still independently owned and operated by the Steinle family. With over 50 employees, Dwayne's is one of the largest specialty labs in the United States.

I took my mother’s old 35mm camera into Moler’s without any knowledge of the craft. Robert took his time explaining the process of analog photography and helped get the camera back to working order.
Other costumers were very nice and welcoming into the craft, one even stating that it brought him happiness to see people still interested in learning about film!
After seeing the prices of parts and film online I was anticipating a sizable bill but Robert spent time cleaning the camera, replacing batteries, as well as 3 rolls of film for under $25!
I will definitely be back to this store and

Moler is the best camera shop in town. They know it. ALL of it. And if they don't, they will find out. They are the only place to buy a camera. Big box stores don't know cameras like these guys. They can help with big issues and are every bit as happy to help with little issues, too. Nice, friendly and AWESOME. Been going to Moler's for thirty years. Best in town.

What an awesome place. They have cameras and accessories for cameras throughout the ages. Unbelievable smell when you walk in, not in a bad way. You can just smell the history of cameras in their store. I would love to spend an hour there just looking at all of the things they have! Highly recommend a visit.

They helped me get my first camera and have been super helpful throughout the process. I got it used and when there was an issue with the lens that they could have waved away as my fault (it was not in this case but definitely could have been) or "you bought it used, what did you expect" they swapped the lens out with no questions asked. The cost of getting it repaired would have been the same as getting it replaced, so they saved me a huge headache.
Even if you're not going there yourself, please recommend them as a great local business.

I had really high hopes before visiting this store and was very disappointed with the customer service. I recently replaced my stolen equipment with a new Nikon set up and decided to stop by to see what the only camera store in town might have to offer for rebuilding my equipment set. Walked around the store a few minutes to get a feel for what is available and noticed they had a lot of vintage equipment. At this point I wasn't really expecting them to have many new lenses for my D5500 but I was willing to see what they had and thought they may have 1 or 2 used ones. An employee greeted me and

I have only been in this place once, but from what I could tell, it seems like a cool little shop. They have new and used stuff, such as camera bags and lens cases (that's what I was in there looking for). I found a fairly good sized camera bag and four lens sleeves for 20.00, can't beat that when most camera bags new are at least 60 by themselves. They are the sweetest four legged security guard watching the doors too.

Wichita is so fortunate to have a local family business like this one. One of Wichita's best gems for sure! The business has been family owned for YEARS! If you go into the store today or even five years from now you can still expect to see the same friendly faces every time you drop by. They have a lot of vintage cameras in the store and you can also ask to check out newer cameras or as about the latest and greatest. I went in here about a year ago to have a lens looked at and I couldn't even locate how to know what kind of lens it was. The only reason I knew it fit a Canon camera

Great vintage camera store. This store specializes in film and vintage equipment and is easily the best stocked store for film gear I have ever been too.
A lot of the collectible cameras weren't for sale which was weird, I was asked to come back on Wednesday morning and try to convince the owner to get rid of them. This was almost half of the stuff in the store! I assumed a camera store sold cameras....
Still this place is awesome, they process film and repair cameras. They also had a lot of professional equipment along with chemicals and equipment for developing. I found lots of odds and
